The Sidewinder™ is our premium handheld observational thermal monocular series. Comes equipped with a 640×512 twelve micron infrared detector and a 1024×768 OLED display, for improved color rendering. The Sidewinder thermal sensors also come equipped with the most sensitive temperature ratings in its class, coming in at sub-20 millikelvin across the entire product family. Other improvements over the Taipan monoculars include a more robust body/housing and a removable, rechargeable 18650 battery. These units also boast an impressive waterproof rating, ensuring users have peace of mind while utilizing these under most weather conditions. The Sidewinder's built-in 64 GB memory also sits at the top of its class on the market, with advanced software supporting both video recording and image capturing. The primary uses for these thermal monoculars include, but are not limited to: hunting, law enforcement, search-and-rescue, personal security, conservation, anti-poaching, camping, hiking and different marine applications.
