The Story
The IndiPRO Tools V-Mount Plate with NP-FZ100 Dummy Battery and 15mm Rod Clamps for Sony a7 III features power regulation in the V-mount plate and a magnetic choke on the 20-inch cable to deliver clean power to your camera. The plate has a built-in D-Tap port for powering accessories and mounts on 15mm LWS rods. Spring-loaded locking levers provide a good grip and the ability to lock or loosen the rod clamps, even when there isn't enough room on your rig to rotate the levers 360-degree.
The power for the dummy battery is regulated in the battery plate so that it does not take place within your camera. This arrangement, along with the magnetic choke on the cable, helps minimize the potential of electrical interference with your camera.
