Re-engineered, the Kicker CompQ 10-Inch Subwoofer is the best round subwoofer with a precision cast aluminum basket powered by ferrite motor assembly and Kicker's patented Uniplate motor assembly with Forced-Air Cooling for massive power handling. The oversized spring-loaded speaker terminals allow fast and easy connection with up to 12 AWG sized wire. The dual 2-ohm Voice Coil can be wired as a 1-ohm or 4-ohm subwoofer. Its SoloKon Cone System with 360-degree bracing is constructed from a polymer blend for a rigid cone offering excellent bass performance. The ribbed santoprene surround with Kicker's legendary double-stitching for optimal efficiency, control, and distortion-free bass under high excursion while the tooled front gasket provides rugged looks and reliability. CompQ subwoofers include the latest Kicker innovation of Forced-Air Cooling, which uses the excursion of the woofer to force out hot air while drawing in cool air. This results in a 20 percent reduction in heat over designs not utilizing Forced-Air Cooling, thereby increasing the already industry-leading reliability of the subs.
