The Samsung 2TB 990 PRO PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 Internal SSD with Heatsink provides high-speed storage with sequential read speeds up to 7450 MB/s and write speeds up to 6900 MB/s. It uses Samsung V-NAND 3-bit MLC flash and an in-house controller on an M.2 2280 form factor with a PCIe 4.0 x4 / NVMe 2.0 interface. The integrated heatsink supports thermal management and fits desktops, laptops, and PlayStation 5. The drive supports AES 256-bit encryption, has a TBW of 1200TB, and can be managed using Samsung Magician software.
